Q:
Why all the focus on joint strength, balance,
& stabilization?
Because these
three aspects of fitness are so often ignored.
Most people exercise to lose weight, relieve
stress, or gain energy. Those are admirable
goals, but without joint strength, balance, and
stabilization, you may be setting your body up
for health problems or injuries that could be
easily avoided with the correct exercise
routine. The right fitness professional
can help increase your strength, balance, and
stabilization while achieving your general
fitness goals, beit weight loss or muscle gain.

Q:
Can't I just get weight loss from a diet and a
treadmill?
Weight loss is
only one component of true fitness. Moreover
there’s no guarantee that a diet and a
treadmill will help you attain your weight loss
goals. If it were that easy, no one would be
overweight. In order to increase your chances,
you must work in a fitness environment that can
show you more efficient ways to work out.

Q:
Why not just work out with a friend that seems to be in shape
Everyone has a
friend who can eat anything but not gain a
pound, or who almost never works out but has
excellent blood pressure. As simple as it
sounds, not everyone is the same and what works
for your friend may not work for you. Our
fitness professionals can design a program that
will address your individual needs based on
years of experience both in the classroom and
with hundreds of clients.

Q:
I work out on a regular basis and am in decent
shape. I also don’t want to train for a
marathon or any type of sport. Do I really need
a personal trainer?
That’s up to
you. If you exercise on a regular schedule and
eat healthy foods, you’re already ahead of
most Americans. However a personal trainer can
help you with aspects of fitness you may not
know about like postural alignment, balance,
flexibility, joint strength, and stabilization.
You may not need to run a marathon, but it may
be helpful to know ways to make your workout
more efficient.

Q:
How do I know that this is going to work?
You don’t. No
exercise program is “one size fits all.” But
ELITE BODY looks at each individual as a whole
and has a proven track record of helping people
achieve their fitness goals. Take advantage of
one of our fitness tests and find out if we’re
right for you.

Q:
What if I have an injury or preexisting health
condition?
Certain injuries
and health conditions require that we get
clearance from your doctor before you start to
train with us. But, in general, because our
system looks at the body as a whole, it works
particularly well for people who are injured or
who have health problems.

Q:
I’ve never really worked out before and am
severely overweight. I’ve always felt
intimidated by gyms because I’m so out of
shape. Can you help me?
Our clients range
from professional athletes to people who have
rarely or never exercised. ELITE BODY’s
trainers are extremely sensitive to your fitness
level and will do everything possible to put you
at ease. The idea that working out has to be a
grueling process is a myth and our trainers will
make your session fun and engaging.

Q:
What's the catch to the "Fitness
Testing"?
Stated simply,
there is no catch to this free session. This
session, whether weight loss, general fitness,
or sports specific, is designed to highlight the
specific structural areas we would target in
your fitness program, but there are no
requirements to join the club and train with us
afterwards. Many people have told us that they
learn more in that one hour than from years of
working out, with or without guidance. In this
hour they also learn how inefficiency in their
program will hurt their fitness goals. After the
first session, because of our demonstrated
expertise, many people choose to join our
community for their ongoing fitness needs. But
you’re under no obligation and there is no
catch.

Q:
My friend and I like to workout together. Can we
both be trained together?
Yes we offer a
buddy training program that allows friends to
work out together. However each evaluation and
fitness program is specific, so in some cases it
will be not as effective to have you do the same
workout as your friend. In that case, your
trainer will let you know.

Yes we we have
compiled a list of fitness related links,
but because we do not produce the information
ourselves, we cannot endorse any services or
products offered by these companies.
Please use discretion when searching for a
